Project Structure
The Project is approximately 46% owned by CDC Group, a leading Development Finance Institution (DFI) from the United Kingdom with the remainder with local investor groups. The debt financing has been secured from CDC Group, FMO and United Bank.
Project Details
The Project has selected the Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) SG114 2.0 MW turbine as the preferred technologies and secured a SGRE (technology provider) / Sumec (constructor) Consortium as the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contractor.
The SGRE is the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) provider for first two-years warranty period and subsequently eight-years period.
Project Timeline
The project was in construction phase by issuing Notice to Proceed (NTP) to the EPC Contractor on July 31, 2017 and achieved the Commercial Operation Date (COD) on March 28, 2019 at 00:00 hrs PST.
The project has issued Taking Over Certificate to EPC Contractor on October 25, 2019.
The Warranty Period O&M Contract has been completed and Long Term O&M Agreement has been commenced on October 25, 2021 with SGRE.
